- a. அபான வாயு - தசவாயுக்களி வொன்றாகிய கீழ் நோக்கிச் செல்லும் வாயு, இது மலக்குலையே யிடமாகக் கொண்டு, உச்சத் தலத்தில் நின்று, இடுப்பின் பூட்டு, மர்மஸ்தானம், அடிவயிறு, அடித்தொடை ஆகிய இவ்விடங்களிற் பரவி, விந்து, நாதம், மலம், மூத்திரம், கருப்பம் ஆகிய இவைகளை வெளிப்படுத்தும். இது விகாரப்படின், கடுமையான மூத்திர நோய்களையும், குடல்நோய்களையு முண்டாக்கும், இவ்வாயு, வியானன் என்னும் வாயுவோடு கலக்கப் பிரமேகம் முதலிய விந்துவைப் பற்றிய ரோகங்களு மேற்படும்.
